CAFES: POSITIVITEA
At Shamania 2006 Positivitea is providing a beautiful,
relaxed, homely and welcoming info. / workshop space
and a herbal tea stall run on donations.
Promoting ideas of eco-sustainability, synergistic spirituality,
self-responsibility, creativity and fun. All of the
decoration and equipment used is handcrafted and/ or
reclaimed out of the waste of a consumer culture. The
space is a demonstration of sustainable, harmonious,
creative living.
The info. stall provides photocopied information for
people to read, take home, reprint and redistribute.
The information is on a range of topics including spiritual
pathways, health and healing, environmentalism, DIY
living, permaculture, alternative/sustainable lifestyles,
resisting capitalism, national/global campaigns.
We are happy to run the space through the night to
aid in the role of festival welfare. We will run activities
in the space where appropriate and will have drawing
equipmment and games for people to play to help people
chill-out, relax and ground themselves.
Positivitea is a non-profit making collective who decorate
free spaces and
make tea for the fun of it. We pride ourselves on our
principle of having
no fixed prices within the space. Our purpose is not
to make money from the
space, but to provide the conditions for conscious self-transformation
and
to maximise the possibilities of collective evolution
provided by the
festival environment. It is run solely by, and relies
upon, love,
co-operation and mutual aid.
