For this year's Shamania Lugnasadh Festival, we've acquired a new site in the Pendle area of N.E. Lancashire.
Although last year's site was a beauty, we felt that for ethical reasons, we should find somewhere else. Don't worry, you won't be disappointed with the views of Pendle Hill. See the pics below.
For anyone coming any distance use the town of Burnley as your main reference point, the M65 motorway is the main route you will need to use in order to get to the festival.
The map below should get you to the site with ease. look for the turn off on the A6068 marked 'Barley Picnic Site'
But don't go to Barley!
Stay on the Noggarth Road, heading for Roughlee. If you get lost, ask locals to point you in the direction of Noggarth Shop.
Postcode for the shop is BB12 9PY
Grid Reference for site is SD839394
If travelling from M1 direction, take M62, M60, M66 then M65
>From M6, take M65
